Man with strong Indian accent calling himself "Daniel", claiming to be calling from "Microsoft Encarta" and saying that hackers had infected my PC, so he'd need access to it. A complete criminal scam. I told him I needed to go and get my computer, then left him waiting for ages until he eventually hung up. Number now blocked & reported to ICO.

SCAM Received a call from 02039061194 number. Lady who named herself Sarah, was claiming they are from Road Traffic Helpline (https://roadtraffichelpline.com/) and started with usual story of: "you had a no fault road accident..." When challenged that this might be a scam etc, she gave the above website and a phone number 01618186757 for me to call her back. Robotic voice first, then Indian voice Claiming a Visa Card has been misused, and starts asking for personal details, I refused and put the phone down. Called again early this morning, put phone down again. As the number does not match any relevant telephone numbers of our Bank, I Believe it is a SCAM call.
They asked to access my pc to check a frozen crypto wallet. When i asked them why i apparently had £16k in my name they were kindly trying to return to me. I said i wasn't aware of this and they should give it to charity rather than faff about with my pc, this confused the nice man. He insisted i should have my money back, we to and fro'd for a little bit before he eventually accepted that i actually knew more about blockchain transactions than he did.

I got a call from this number today, 06/03/2023, from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, I was offered a 20% discount for the last 12 months of my contract. When they asked for my name and address I ended the call. They had a strong Indian accent. I contacted Vodafone who confirmed is was a fraud.

Called saying they were from Vodaphine technical team checking on my service. They wanted me to do a speed test first on my laptop, then on my phone. As apperently they were currently working on the line and I was having issues... I'm not with Vodaphone. They eventually hung up.

Fraud Pre recorded message posing as Credit Card company stating your card has been used twice this morning, one transaction supposedly for Amazon the 2nd I couldn’t quite understand but for large sums of money. Asks you to press 1 on your phone to authorise these transactions. Just put the phone down. I’m getting fed up with these people who think they can con other people out of their hard earned money.

Another damn nuisance call. Some recorded woman's voice trying to convince me there are two fraudulent transactions on my bank account, press number one to get details etc. As it happened, I'd just been checking my bank account online, but I wouldn't have believed her anyway, as that's not the way my bank would contact me. This pathetic scam originated from a number in Knighton, a small town in Powys about ten miles from my house. Whoever you are, try and get a life!
