Called and asked for very confidential information. I caught the scam and didnt give it to them. They are a danger to society and a threat to children. I am not free to reveal any more details but beware of this number.

We had a phone call from this number claiming to be Sky. They were telling us that someone was using our hub and that they were going to send us a "security app" . When they couldn't tell us our Sky account number correctly, we hung up.

I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.
This number called purporting to be from my bank. It is in fact listed as Russian! I can only assume the b******s want to surrender!
This is not a scam I have covers for all my electricals,this is from homeshield direct and I also have paperwork and I recently phoned them to replace my washing machine as it broke down and had someone come out to look at it and few weeks later had a new washing machine.had to pay extra for delivery and old washing machine removal
Scammers. An indian man called saying he is from Sky broadband and needs to check something about the security of the connection. He asked if I had an android phone where I could download a specific app (TeamViewer QuickSupport or AnyDesk Remote Desktop). If you install these apps they will try to get remote access to your phone and will steal everything they can. Just hang up and report the number.

The guy said he was an independent company that did surveys about car insurance. he had my address and that worried me. when I thanked him and refused to answer, he started talking about respect for work and then I was hung up.

Received this call today. It came approximately 30 minutes after a call from a Cambridge number 01223 931995. The Cambridge number went dead on answering. The 01330 563426 number allowed me to answer, and an automated message said it was the HMRC and that I would be fined. You could press 1 to talk to an agent. I hung up. You cannot ring back. Scam call pretending to be Virgin Media (broadband internet). Standard scam pattern. Voices/accents from Indian subcontinent but claiming western names ("Daniel", "Robert", etc). Presumably using in-country telephone redirection service so as to appear with 0161 prefix. Claimed "We are getting errors from your internet connection." Wanted me to download Anydesk software so they could take remote control of my computer.

Probable Fraud/Scam - Heavily Indian accented female called Rachel called me purporting to be working for Microsoft at the Reading Campus. Claimed there was a problem with my computer and "bad people were using it for bad things on the internet". Told me she would deactivate my computer if I didn't do what she said. Got quite rude when I told her I didn't believe her. Stalled her for 5 minutes before she hung up on me.

This is a genuine NHS number. They use it to call patients to cancel/alter appointments mostly. They cannot leave messages on answerphones because of confidentiality issues.
