I had asked for PPI help but do not understand these stupid 2 ring calls?

I have had 2 calls on separate days from this number. On both occasions the caller does not speak, just ends the call immediately.

This is some dodgy company trying to sell diamonds. They've been contacting me for around 2 years now. On occasion I have asked them about their "investment ideas"...

Heavy foreign accent. Knew my name and postcode. Asked me to confirm these. Nope... because that establishes a link with my phone number.

Accident scam

Phoned telling me they had a cheque to send for refund of bank charges. Had my name and address, wanted my date of birth. When asked which bank were refunding charges just repeated UK Financial Services. Told me they would cancel cheque if I didn t give date of birth. I said that would be fine and hung up. Its time uk phone numbers were stopped from being given to overseas callers.

called me 4 times in the past hour between 8-9 at night, line is dead. how do they get away with this? this is a nuisance call, they are stalkers!!!

I m sick and tired of all these cold callers there should be a new law introduced to stop this and I m sure millions will back me up on this I have ME /CFS and I thought it was an appointment please please let s all band together and stop this

This number has been phoning several times a day for the last week or so but never leaves an answer phone message so I assume it is another nuisance call.

I dont know who they are but they have tried to call a few times and havent left any messages

l would love to know where these annoying ppl get our number l cannot block the number either

Girl called to say they were a legal firm calling about a minor accident I was reportedly involved in around 2014. Hung up.

This company is fake the real Acosta is in the USA and they don t cold call and there are looking into fraudulent use of there company name I had to phone Florida to report these calls!

The following steps are suggested:

Purporting to be TalkTalk technical to stop slow internet speed

Bank of England asking to block or authorise a £600 overseas transaction made on your mobile phone

Fed up of this number disturbing me, all times of day, rings four times, stops, call back says o2, press one then cuts off
