Got a call from this number saying they are from HMRC and I have criminal record for outstanding tax payments. They said if I don’t pay today over the phone a warrant will be out for my arrest. Tried calling the number back and It says service closed with a dial tone. Sounds like a scam to me. Please be aware.

Two calls today, both with Asian sounding operators claiming to be from BT. They are not. Don't give these scammers anything, not even the time of day. OFCOM, are you listening?
