Sure enough an Indian accented woman said "Hello how are you?" When I asked who she was, she said she was calling from she replied, Curry's PC World. FraudThis Aberdeen telephone number 01224515010 are SCAMMERS trying to get you to sign up for a new energy plan ect. They scam people from various other telephone numbers don't give them your bank account details. I've reported all their telephone numbers to Action Fraud.
They asked to confirm details of address, post code and gave names of people residing. I declined call to continue to protect our personal information being verified for whatever purposes as they did not give any information on the company or organisation they were working for.

Man with strong Indian accent calling himself "Daniel", claiming to be calling from "Microsoft Encarta" and saying that hackers had infected my PC, so he'd need access to it. A complete criminal scam. I told him I needed to go and get my computer, then left him waiting for ages until he eventually hung up. Number now blocked & reported to ICO.
