Over the past two or three years I have told them several times not to call me, and to delete my details from their database. They state that they will and it will take a few weeks. My definition of a few weeks is roughly around a month. Their definition is obviously a lot longer - I left them about three years ago, and they still insist on calling me and sending me junk mail. I received a call from this number saying my washing machine was out of warranty as I consider warranties are not worth having due to so companies going out of business I never take advantage of them plus the appliance was brought years ago, I consider it a bit late plus I always check a number out once the call has been made and considering there is no record of it, it has got to a scam caller :-)

Introduced himself as Peter from Telephone Preference Service. Asked if I was getting nuisance calls? So I told him he was one. But Peter continued unabashed and asked again and said I needed to register to stop these calls. So this time I said I did not want to stop them as I enjoyed the conversation. He asked if I didn't want to have them stop. But I again repeated that I liked them. This succeeded in confusing him immensely and he could not think what to say - haha Basically a complete scam - beware.

Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Im very scared now and don t know what to do
