SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.

Said was local energy advisor in my postcode. Funny Bournemouth area code not even my county. My guess is that this is a fake called id that comes up. Keeps calling and keep asking invasive questions, but will never give a straight answer to any questions when asked; once said he was based in reading. Last two times he call just hung up after his first 4 word, can even recognise the voice now. Just hang up pain in backside.

We have been called twice by this number. It is a digitally-generated message, not a human, stating that it is from HMRC and that an arrest warrant has been generated. The call was closed by our answering machine before it could be completed. There was the start of a list of options. My 10 year old answered the phone and was extremely worried that the police were going to be on our doorstep. I'm sure that it's a scam...at least I hope so.

I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. The letter looks genuine, uses a genuine Lloyds address and gives this number to call with questions.

Calls over space of five days x 5 Totally fed up. Really rude. Asked them who they were said BT Business "what type of telecommunications do we use" call centre. Deffo not BT.
Very rude man wants myself and my wife to take out advertising and also to give out personal details about ourselves. When I said no he threatened to kill us and said he was entitled to have our details. Has now phoned 22 times in 3 hours. Treat carefully.
