Been called at 5:45 and when picked up automated voice asked me to enter my card details and press the pound key to confirm!!

Usual PPI / car accident / similar sort of claim cold call. Blocked number. These people must be utterly shameless. I couldn t sit at a desk with a headset on being told to get lost (or worse) 100 s of times a day. Still, it s a job I suppose but I d rather be unemployed than lower myself to this sort of thing!

Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. An Indian man calling from ?Remote Security? and enquiring about a ?computer or laptop in your house? I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up. Expecting a call again tomorrow as that?s what happened last time I told them not to call

I received a call from this number this afternoon but no voicemail was left so I didn t know who called. I later received a call from 01702454081, which seemed a coincidence. This was from Insure and Go. They were following up an online quote for travel insurance so it was really not entirely a cold call .

Another call purporting to be from Virgin Media saying my security is at risk. I put the phone down but telling them beforehand that I was putting the phone down.

You should record the conversaion and then tell them their voice will be uploaded to the internet for identification. Asian sounding guy, rabbiting at speed about who I was and telling me my details, barely caught a word, then says BT will call to save me money on my Telephone and Broadband, then hung up immediately, never asked was I interested in any possible savings, not even the basic pleasantries of asking how I was etc... Just quick fire rabbit rabbit rabbit, BT will call me, click, all I can say is, if this was anything to do with BT, they are now less likely to be getting my business than they were before.

Young female, said I had had an accident in the past 2/3 yrs which was non fault, I have not! When asked where she had my number from as registered with TPS she completely blanked me and spoke over me, said goodbye and hung up. Very annoyed!

I did not answer, but wanted to check the number out first. there was no bad report on the number. when I tried to return the call there was no answer then a "click" in the line and a message that the "other person had hung up". this makes me think it s somebody trying to sell you something nobody wants

Caller hung up when I answered the call from this number. Presume it is an auto dialling system
