Apparently I have won several thousand dollars in a US draw without buying a ticket. I was given a reference number but it sounds very much like a scam.

keeps calling many times could be a scam.

"Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line and you ll be transferred to the next available agent" On-hold music lasted 6 minutes, then a different recorded voice said "Good-bye" and hung up.

I missed a call from 02476 423 089. when I tried to return the call, it was unobtainable. I've seen that someone else has received several calls from this number and no-one...

Its not just AO I just received a call from a young woman claiming to be from boots appliances, in the pretence of confirming delivery details etc. In fact her sole purpose was to sell insurance cover! She repeated every detail of my delivery, which I already know, told me they can remove my old appliance, which I already know etc etc etc then asked me why my old appliance was broken! Strange phone call, like someone previously stated....I also had an issue with the guy when I asked him not to call again, he was rude and aggressive, he appeared not to know my name though he said I had put my details online. I certainly never. Something fishy.

When I answered the phone, there is just an awful recorded message saying it’s from Broomfield Hospital & to press a button to hear more. I didn’t know if it was a scam or not as I have had fraudulent calls that sounded like this!! Didn’t press the button just in case as not expecting to hear from the hospital. A text would have been good.

The usual"please hold for an important message, if you have been in an accident" the same old rubbish.

Called to say I had orderd a new sim card, told him I hadn t, he said he was from O2, and that they could save me money, told him that I had the best tariff, He had an irish accent, and then OK and hung up. Dont think this is o2.

Called from this number asking about my "Microsoft product" very agressive when I said I could not switch on my machine at this time. Very strong accent, difficult to understand. When I asked where they were calling from she just got cross and told me my laptop wouldn t work if I didn t switch it on now!
