SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.

Supposedly from Microsoft wanting to know if I was the main user of the computer? When I asked why he said they have been getting a lot of notices and that my security software was being corroded. He asked when I'd last used the computer and when I said it was none of his business he said **** off a****** and hung up!

23 calls from 16 Mar 2023 to 31st May 2023 asking for someone who does even live at the address and no matter how many times i tell them they continue to call nearly everyday sometimes they hang up on me answering

Fraud Called pretending to be instructed by an United Kingdom Insurance Limited. He spoke very convincingly and was stubborn that the call was "not out of the blue" that he was instructed to call me because they had to transfer funds to me in relation to driving accident that was not my fault. Contacted from this number by automated contact stating it was ‘bank security’ advising I had money taken from my account and asking me to press a number to speak to someone. Did not feel it was genuine at all.

I've been called 2 days in a row. Says it's a nameless bank concerned about 2 charges on my bank card. One for £300 and one for £3000. The number is not recognized when rung back. This is a scam. Please be careful and do not give any information.

Cold-calling to do with promoting books on Amazon.com for self-published authors. I am not the person they’re trying to contact, although they have the same name. Poor research on their part. They also have my email address. It looks like a London number, but I’m not 100% convinced that it’s UK based. They referred to Amazon.com, not Amazon.co.uk. Caller had an American accent. Just been called from this number claiming to be from BT Openreach wanting my Internet details as my security had been compromised. When challenged the caller was rude and hung up on me.This website suggests the phone is based near Greater Manchester but a phone locator website suggests it is based in London. Calling the number back yielded no response.
