Man with a thick Indian accent rang claiming to be from BT ringing about the internet slowing down at the house. He had my name and address and postcode. When I asked what my account number was he reeled off a number (which later check was wrong). I said I’d call by back and he gave me an 0333 number saying it was BT customer service. Rubbish! Very clever scammers trying to gain access to your internet where they can steal your bank details etc
Received txt from 01908 238013 asking me to call 03308 084 562 with a reference No., saying I'd set up a payment for Mrs C Davidson £850 scheduled for today 20/02/2022 @ 19:15. This number calls me every day with two or three times at about 10 minute intervals. They never leave any messages. Clearly they know that I would not wish to speak to them. They seem associated with another number 07482874785 which also calls each day with the same pattern and often one number makes its calls and is then followed 10 to 15 minutes later by the sequence from the other number.
Had 3 calls over the last few days from various numbers all starting with the same dalling code, 01926.
