Scam. Only got last 20 secs of call as it went to answerphone, but it asked for confirmation of charges to Amazon and Moneytransfer, neither of which I've used! As per the first comment, I received 2 texts 5 mins. apart claiming that EVRI hadn't been able to deliver a parcel........that I'd never ordered.......probably asking for banking details in the provided link.

Automation voice asking me to 'press 1' to be connected to Western Union Transfer

Fraud, SCAM, PHISHING 07440008657 claims to be from HMRC in an automated american accent. I pressed 1 to find out more and spoke to a human (with a fake American accent) who immediately asked for my name and postcode. They hung up when I politely said no.

I was called from 01733385646 and because I come from Peterborough I answered it. It was an automated voice stating that there had been a number of charges made against a card, going on to say that one was for Amazon. They were so obviously not from any bank as they did not say which bank, card, etc., Therefore I just put the phone down. When I tried to call the number back it went dead as if not recognised. Thus I conclude that this could be a scam!

Another scam number, automated message pretenting to be from our card issuer that there is suspicious activity. This is the second call this morning from a number started from 01256 with different end digits. Do NOT press 1 or 2 as suggested. Number blocked now.
