The area code for this number is Belfast. I don't know anyone there so assume its either telesales or a scam/fraud. Either way the call was missed and is now blocked.

Scammers got my name form Mail Order Catalogue sais I was due a 70% discount off restaurant meals. Lots of people heard in background 'call centre' , I put the phone down to the Asian accented lady. This number is no longer J A Winward and Sons - Scientific Glassware. My dad was one of the "sons", (J A Winward was my grandad)... I don't know who is using the phone number now, but the premises is now an art studio called Red Door and they might still have the same phone number?

Warned of unusual transactions on my card including Amazon and international transfers. Unsubtle scam but using local number identity meant I at least answered the call.
strange unsolicited call from number belonging to: 'W A Read & Sons Ltd' Upon answer there was no reply and the phone put down. I called them several times over and got redirected to voicemail until they eventually gave up and answered. Lady picked up and I asked "What do you want"? No response and phone was put down. This happened two more times. They then disconnected the phone it seems.
