Fraud I enquired about a pension transfer from the Netherlands to UK and cot contacted by Online Mortgage Advisor (OMA) dsiplaying this nr. I have not been further contacted and I can't get in contact with OMA either as the nr is not callable, which is a breach with OFCOM regulations.
Fraud Robot claiming to be from HMRC stating errors in my tax return that could lead to arrest, loss of passport etc. Hung up.
SCAM - poor line quality - said something about energy but they put the phone down when I asked them to repeat.

Pre - recorded woman’s voice saying there was a £900 transaction pending on my Visa card, and “Press button 1 to report this if it isn’t you.” I have no Visa card. Scam.

This is a cold caller first thing in the morning, asking what i had in my loft. Denied being a cold caller or nuisance caller. Saying i would benefit from this call. Which i understand to be against the law to do un the UK. I demanded to know where she got my details from. She said it was from the.. P.. Somethinf data base company.. So probabky paid for it.... Indian lady in a noisy call centre, claimed to be 'BT Technical Services'. Said that there was a problem with my internet connection. I told them to carry on fixing it and cleared-down.
Claimed it was EE, but I suspect this is most likely a SCAM call centre due to the line of questioning and the fact they simply hung up on me when they weren't getting the response they were looking for.

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. This number is SAFE - its a Hair Restoration Clinic and they only phone you if you enquired with them in the first place an asked for a call back - really nice chap answered the phone and was helpful
Suspicious text from this number to "mum" pretending it is "the new number on whatsapp" because "the screen is completely shattered". Do not trust this number. Do not call back or call on whatsapp. Potentially dangerous.

I visited the EE website and asked in the community and lots off EE customers have received exactly the same text message, and they have all got exactly the same amount of "points" which is not an EE scheme, and when you search the number it came from it states the number is on the EE network NOT from EE themselves.
Claimed to be from Virgin Media about an internet connection. Worrying signs, firstly did not have my name as a contact or any reason to indicate I have an Virgin account. Also they are using a local number, for a very small area, which to my knowledge does not have a Virgin office.

Some foreign sounding person with a croaky voice, calling about a motor "accident compensation", claiming to be acting on behalf of the "Motor Insurance Bureau".... Tell them Nothing... I Asked them to tell me the date of the "accident" and the Registration number of vehicles involved... They then hung up immediately... Obviously Phishing for information.... ????.

Overseas noisy background call centre female claiming to be from ‘the technical department’ not a specific company just technical department. Red flags were didn’t know my name or address. I challenged her told her she was talking rubbish about being a technical department. I used a few choice profanities to which she called me a few! I asked her if those were technical terms and she hung up! Obvious scamming call. The call was at 08:45 on a Saturday.

Call was a recorded message saying that I had 2 transactions off £750 off my Credit card this morning if this was not you press 1. I didn't do it but I did check with my accounts and it appears to be a scam. As they didnt say which Credit company either. Plus surely they wouldn't use a mobile phone either. They would use land line to ring from. Plus an email or text.
