Received call from this number today and it was a bad line so I was asking is anybody there at the same time as the guy started with 'Hi there maam, this is.....' he then disconnected the call. So no idea who or what company the number is from. It did come up on my phone as being London location and I am Manchester.
Hung up when I answered, no pickup when I rang back

FRAUD SCAM!! This was an automated message initially asking if I'd authorised a payment for £600 to overseas. Transferred to a human who said the payment on your visa debit card, I asked which card, she replied your visa debit. I asked again which card, was told from your bank. Which bank? The bank you authorised the payment from. I said I have several banks so which one. She replied Halifax bank, when I said I don't bank with Halifax she hung up on me. Be careful folks!

Called around mid day to say my bank account had significant withdrawals and said press 2 to talk to an advisor. I suggested they did something physiologically impossible!
Fraud scam. Scam insurance crash call. The call operator was obviously very new at this. Fumbled and stumbled his way through the script in barely understandable “Hind-lish”. I stopped him and told him he was really terrible at this game, should stop now, he’s not cut out to be another sh*tty scammer. Told him his parents would be ashamed of him. Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. According to map location both calls originated from the same place, a few miles South East of Great Mitton. Number originates from O2 system.
