Had a call from a lady claiming to be from Talk Talk technical Department. She knew my name and asked if I was aware of the large amount of harmful data that I had been downloading, or something to that effect. I was immediately suspicious so I asked for her name which she gave me as Olivia, and where she was calling from, She told me London, and had a really heavy asian accent that made her very difficult to understand. I didn't believe her so asked for her phone number and said I would call back. She gave

wrong name and wrong address no idea how they got my number!!

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Similar numbers from the same range are mostly reported with PPI, car accidents. Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked

Recorded female voice claiming to be from BT saying they were going to cut off my internet. Again. Scammers. Blocked.

Had a call claiming to be HMRC saying I've committed tax fraud and that action was being taken against me. I was told to press 1 to find out more so I hung up as I have read somewhere that as soon as you press a number, your phone can be hacked or something bad like that. I know for a fact that I haven't committed tax fraud and I don't think HMRC would phone. They usually send letters in the first instance. Therefore I'm flagging this up as dangerous.

A Nuisance call from a man claiming to be a solicitor asking about a road traffic accident. Best thing to do is not answer or put them on mute for a while.
