Im getting 5 calls a day from this number. I dont ever answer it. A few days ago I had to call lendingstream.co.uk on my mobile because they had a robot calling my landline several times a day after an ex-lodger who d taken a loan with them. My landline went straight to the robot hence used mobile. After calling lendingstream on my mobile I started getting 01267226769 calls. First time Ive had nuisance calls. Call tonight claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asking if I received cold calls. A man with an Asian accent on a crackly line in a call centre then informed me that my subscription was about to expire. Clearly a scam so I told him what I thought of him and hing up. The number is not registered - is it not time that the phone companues filtered calls from unregistered numbers to stop this sort of abuse as it is untraceable.

Unfortunately, the development of technology is a tumb up in our lives as well as a tumb down for our security and privacy. In this case is better not to answer and the ringing stops if dismissed.
