Have had so many nuisance calls now that I hardly ever answer the phone at all. Just listen to messages or dial . Last night I did pick up and a man with a heavy Indian accent wanted to upgrade my call preference. He had my name, address and postcode and a
redialled and got through to 'insure for less'. Polite young man asking if he could help, I just said, sorry wrong number.

Automated IVR system called me on a number currently listed with the UK Telephone Preference Service, which is checked by reputable marketing companies to ensure they don t try to contact "opted out" numbers. Hence, caller is completely untrustworthy and highly disreputable.
Received a number of in just a few days, luckily with Android I can block them.
