They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. Asian woman calling claiming to be from BT Openreach, clearly calling from a call centre but this is a mobile number! When I queried if this call was genuine the woman kept saying I sould "improve my pronounciation", Told her I was unconvinced the call was genuine and hung up.
This was a text message proposing to be Santander bank? Telling me there was a direct debit set up for a large amount of money due to be taken from my account by a company called Enterprise Ltd????

SCAM as it's about nonsense saying legal action something about a letter being sent back and something about the queen it was odd as I don't usually get phone calls like that not since a few days ago and it's beginning to annoy me as receiving phone calls like I did today has only been a distraction and it has overwhelmed me to my limits I hope it stops soon as I'm not so sure how much more I can take of this

They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. This number is SAFE - its a Hair Restoration Clinic and they only phone you if you enquired with them in the first place an asked for a call back - really nice chap answered the phone and was helpful

This number is no longer J A Winward and Sons - Scientific Glassware. My dad was one of the "sons", (J A Winward was my grandad)... I don't know who is using the phone number now, but the premises is now an art studio called Red Door and they might still have the same phone number?

Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.
SPAM I kept getting calls from this number and then a doggy voicemail saying we will take legal action. The voicemail sounded like a robot.

SCAM This number looks as if it was local to me, but it was not. Strongly accented lady said she was from Virgin Media about the "poor performance of the internet connection". I told her I knew it was a hoax call and hung up.
