I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. I was targeted for an unusually precise scam 26/05/23 in which a group telephoned me apparently with specific knowledge of my bank organisation, my name and mobile number. Had a call from this number today. Automated voice message saying someone trying to use £800 from debit card for a gambling place in the USA. They said they was from the fraud team. It also said they were not letting that £800 to come off debit card until I had spoken to someone. It tells you to press 1 to speak to an agent. I received the call from this Vietnam number at 8am on a Sunday. By the time I got to my phone they had rung off without leaving a message. I had requested a cash offer for my house from Go Move and wondered if it was them. I checked with Who Called Me and discovered that it was a Vietnamese number which has over 1000 checks and one7/10 review saying it was a government message thanking them for their coronaviru efforts. My phone rang again from the same 0845 602 11111 number and I got an SMS from Go Move

its a scam even if it is 118 because they sell your data at no gain to you. If its unsolicited hang up because I have never seen any unsolicited call from an unknown person being to your benefit - normally its quite the opposite.
