They actually called following a car accident I had 4 months earlier to try and get me to lodge a claim for personal injury. They are either phishing for a lucky call or are paying the repairers for my mobile phone number. Either way very suspect.

Continued from before.... Steps I did: 1. Massively panicked 2. Forwarded the message to 7726, and followed their instructions and text STOP to the number (83463). 3. Logged it with the ICO. 4. Called the number (0330....5) in the morning and couldn't get through. 5. Called Three, told them about all the information I'd sought out and how good they'd been. Message left on home phone allegedly from the Bank of Scotland Fraud section asking for me to call them with a code number due to apparent activity on my account. Phoned the number supplied and they said they did not recognize my phone number and as such wanted my card number and sort code - which I refused to supply. Subsequently contacted my bank who confirmed that this IS DEFINITELY A SCAM and is not the way in which they operate.
Have had several missed calls from this number. Phoned back but it went to voicemail. A lady then returned my call asking why I had phoned her as she hadn’t rung me from her phone??
