It’s a scam! Told me they had noticed an unusual amount for £1100.00 had been taken from my account. Said they wanted to verify that I had spent it, which I hadn’t but they wanted me to confirm account details.I asked who them to repeat who they were and they said from visa. SCAM This automated call purports to be from LLOYDS BANK FRAUD DEPT reporting fraudulent activity on a credit card, they ask you to press any number to be put in touch with their team. IT IS A SCAM The person they named left here over 9 years ago and has updated her contact details with LLOYDS each time she moved. The question I would like answered is if LLOYDS know they have detected fraudulent activity on a card, why don’t they stop it?

They said they were from HMRC. That I was due a refund due to my tax on a ppi claim. I have never claimed on a ppi form. I asked them to put the information in the post, they declined saying they don’t use the post. I then said we’ll send me an email and if you are HMRC you will have my email address. They then said if I changed my mind to phone them. Very strange

Female automatic message claiming to be from "banking" warning about large transactions (£1000) on Amazon. Menu options 1&2 ignore or speak to someone. I checked banking online, no such transaction made or pending. Probably a scam.

Claiming to be EE, and asked how much I pay a month as they are running 30% off promotion. As soon as I said I don't have an EE account, they hung up.

SCAM I was phoned by this number today. It was a crackly line and the woman said she it was a bank call telling me that there were 2 suspicious payments from my bank account today. One for £300 and one for £3000. There were nos to press to agree to the payments or a number to speak to someone. I ended the call and then redialled the number registered, but it said that it was an incorrect number.

Got a called from 07306 851136 about making money, man with a foreign accent. Would not let me get a word in, when I was being polite, so I asked if he knew what shut up meant. As I wanted to know who they was calling from. After saying shut up multi times, to ask a question, he hung up.

He tried the usual of scaring me into thinking was something wrong – this time by looking at event viewer. When challenged he got very rude and even started screaming down the phone that how dare I waste HIS time! Reported and blocked.
