Fraud SCAM Fraud Claimed to be from Vodaphone, said that an attempt to change my account number had been flagged up, called my number to verify with an old address (first flag) Second flag was when I asked if I could have a verification email I received a what amounted to a "yes but hurry up and give me the number" And of course, when I received a recovery/account change text, the first words of said text were DO NOT TELL ANYONE THIS NUMBER, POLICE OR VODAPHONE EMPLOYEES INCLUDED. SCAM! Pretending to be a mobile company saying I was selected for a mobile upgrade. Then started requesting details from me that they should have on file. When I pointed that out, he pretended he didn't have access because a different department has access to such details. He did NOT greed me by name. IF he would have been legit, he'd have my name and know who he was calling.

SCAM: the caller claimed to be calling from Currys UK, offering a deal in an iPhone 14. The caller wanted my full details - obvious SCAM.
This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.
