The number is for a place called Sam's Cafe. They phoned me claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, offering me a deal on the latest iPhone. I was in the market for a new phone, lucky I didn't bite.

I do not have bt broadband - BT can not technically supply it on this old rural line. I get b/band via radio link frmo an idependent provider which has nothing to do with BT. Guy said he was from BT technical department! WHat rubbish. He even sent me a pin to agree computer access. I advised him he as a nasty little scammer adn then hung up.

SCAM Has called 5 times in the last 2 weeks. Automated message £300 spent at Amazon and £1000 bank transfer to a foreign country. Alleges to come from your bank but doesn't say which one! Pakistani said he was called Nahim Amin. Tried to sell me his mum but I said no. He said he could reduce the price I said I’m not interested . Not into hookers. I recieved text from this number - claimed to be a Royal Mail message saying they were holding a parcel for me that had a surcharge - it asked me to use a link to arrange delivery. I went to the Royal mail tracking website which said it did not recognise the tracking number they gave. The phone number does not seem to be a Royal Mail number. I concluded it is a scam.

This number has called me several times but when asked who is calling they refuse to answer. I have blocked them on several numbers. If they don’t have the courtesy to let you know who they are when calling I assume it’s a scam and block them. Something fishy when they won’t tell you who they are or why they are calling.
Fraud Phone company is investigating this number based in Yorkshire as they found it was linked to my pay monthly account. So knew my personal details and set up a new line! I only found out about it due to a different investigation regarding “crossed lines” or someone basically listening in on my calls! Not only were they listening to calls but seemed to know who I was, this by quoting my full name before the call connected. I ONLY ever phone anonymously! ...we shall see...
