Scam. Claimed to be BT Openreach calling about problem on my router. When I said that this seemed like yet another Indian call centre scam he called me stupid and hung up.

SCAM / SPAM This number will call you and tell you there is an open case against you with HMRC. It will tell you to press 1 to speak to a person, and say if you don't you will be arrested. It's a lie, just hang up :) HMRC would be sending you a letter if this was real.

Call at 6:15 pm on 14 Jan 16. Lady caller (with a very English voice) informed me that I might be due a refund from a company called ......(something)....Jones. I asked who the company is and she gave some information which did not make much sense. I then asked what does the company sell at which point she abruptly finished the call. That sounds like a scam to me!

Four calls in the last two weeks. In spite of being told not to call again, all number withheld. There have been a few silent calls from 0203 1291891, which is probably the same people. All of the callers had Asian accents, but gave English first names. On the third occasion, I was told that they would keep calling until I took part in their survey. They were informed each time, that I was registered with the T.P.S, and it made no difference.
Received repeated calls from this number - mostly not answered. Today, received 3 calls! 1&2 - re: boiler upgrade. At end of message says 'press 9 to opt out' - so I pressed 9. 5 mins later, call from same number saying 'you have been involved in a no fault accident'. Opted out again & blocked number.

A scummy telesales company. They are a legal claims company trawling for business for people whose hearing has been damaged by working in noisy environments. It appears they may have had their database supplied by "Perfect Preferences", but in any event they ignore the TPS database, and as such their cold calls are ILLEGAL.

Text message received from Sants fraud asking me if I had made a pmt of 33458.64 to a Ali Afza? if not to call fraud on the number and not to reply by text. Luckily I worked for Santander so knew it was a scam but it is very convincing.
