This following is clearly obvious “Royal Mail were in Strike on the 24th Dec”. These stupid Thieving Clowns. SCAM / SPAM TRIED TO ASK ME FOR BANK INFORMATION POSING AS HSBC! I am not with HSBC
claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home. Fraud THIS NUMBER RANG ME SAYING THEY WERE FROM THE NATIONAL CRIME AGENCY SAYING MY NATIONAL INSURANCE NUMBER WAS BEING USED FOR ILLEGAL PURPOSES AND THERE WAS A WARRANT FOR MY ARREST, I GAVE NO DETAILS OVER THE PHONE AND SAID I WAS RINGING THE POLICE ABOUT THIS MATTER, TO WHICH THE PERSON PUT THE PHONE DOWN, THE GUY HAD AN INDIAN ACCENT AND OBVIOUSLY A SCAMMER, BE CAREFUL
Asked for me by name. I asked who was calling. He said it was in response to my putting my name down for more information and asked me what kind of investing I was looking to do. I answered "where was it that I put my name down?" *click* he hung up immediately. He never called back (that was yesterday) Very dodgy.

SCAM Ignored call. It went to voicemail and an automated voice left a message saying that there had been some suspicious activity on my Amazon account to the amount of £1,400+ and that my account would be locked and I should press 1 or 2 to sort this out. Obviously I didn't. I've checked my account due to receiving the same message from a mobile number a couple of days before and it's fine.
SCAM - This number called, automatised voice, telling me that HMRC has a case of fraud against me and if I didnt press 1, a warrant would be issued. I know that if HMRC wanted to get hold of you, the first thing they do is sent you a letter.

Didn't recognise the number so didn't answer. Rang back on works landline and received an automated message saying I had been contacted by a double glazing company, I think they were called "Crown?". Anyway blocked so hopefully will never hear from them again.
