SCAM - scam caller

Unsolicited call about Binary Options : asking for a fictitious person (i.e. a name not known at my address). This is one of a succession of calls from similar pretend Financial Services (but not regulated by FCA) and therefore likely to be a scam. Binary Options might be regulated by the Gambling Commission ??? Very High Risk ???

clears down as soon as answering machine cuts in - Genuine callers always leave a valid message - leaving the answering machine on when not expecting a call yourself - really makes their day! (he! he!. .)

Has rung 3 times today to say overspending on certain account is unusual.Have checked that account and all OK

SCAM from HSBC

This number was given to me by Visa Card Scammers, when I questioned the quality of the call. They asked for my bank sort code, (I gave them one that I knew from Coventry) Then in an effort to prove they were legit, proceeded to tell me where my bank was. This scam revolves around a supposed transaction from your bank card. Never tell these guys any real information.

8.52am 8th September 2021 and this person has started his campaign of harrassment again today.This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and has called us over and over to the point of harassment. He has been told that we wont put his call through to the person he wants to speak to as they don’t want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through, then sits mimicking me down the phone line and finally he leaves the line connected so nobody else can call us.

Go skippy insurance. Stupid annoying long messages when you call and my calls keep getting dropped before I can talk to them, all I want is for them to leave me alone and stop texting me about renewing my policy with them (£160 more than last year for car insurance, no claims or anything...)

Indian chap rang asked if I was Mrs Spencer (it wasn't my surname but I didn't tell him that). He said he was from the Telephone Preference Service (LOTS of other Indian-sounding people talking in the background, sounded like a call centre). Asked if I was still receiving scam phone calls. I asked him what he wanted and he said that they could stop all these scam calls. I said "oh yes really?? and how much is that going to cost me?!!". He started on his obviously scripted spiel and amongst it

Indian sounding female saying from Talktalk. Sounds like a distant foreign call but should be a UK call. She wanted to get into my register on my PC. I put the phone down immediately. This was the fourth time she phoned today.

SCAM / SPAM Digital voice threatened legal consequences of not returning Inland Revenue call.

SCAM - the call looked like a normal mobile number. A pre-recorded message talks of a fraud against HMRC and an arrest warrant being issued - press button 1 or 2 Etc. I hung up - a complete scam, either attempting to get a premium rate return call or personal information.

caller said she was calling from amazon and that £1000 had been used for a transaction and that it was suspicious and to press 1 on my phone to get through to an adviser. i cut her off.
