Unsolicited call from the number 0238 069 2375 on late morning of 06/09/22 claiming to be from Amazon. Fake call for the purposes of fraud. Mildly threatening.

Danger - this number is from a scam Norton 360 protection email. It asks you to call number if you want to cancel the new subscription you have supposedly auto renewed. Would not have worked on me as I have taken Norton 360 as it’s crap as a protection software tool. If I had I would have gone direct to the Norton rather than respond to a high lighted number in an email.

Fraud This number has been checked several times in the last day. A call from this number (unaswered) was received late at night by a phone that has been hacked two weeks ago and the service provider seems not to have been able to put the account out of reach of the criminal, despite a great deal of correspondence with them. I received a call from this number today (14.04.23) - did not pick up phone but they left a message, that there have been "unusual activites/transcation" on my card (not mentioned which one). They asked to press #1 to cancle these transactions or #2 to speak to a member of their support team. COMPLETE SCAM!

This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.

This number had a female who knew our name but claimed to be from Cristian Aid. Unfortunately two weeks ago had a very similar number phone pretending to be from Cerebra, when quizzed that person they became very nasty then hung up.
