I said I wasn't interested and put the phone down, as I haven't had any dealings with Carphone Warehouse. I also suspect this isn't really Carphone Warehouse!Reply

This is a company claiming to be 'ALC Legal'. They are cold callers and after repeated requests to be taken off their calling lists, they are still calling me. I have ...

Called trying to arrange a survey of the property for Solar Panels, told that they were not trying to sell me anything (yeh right) but a surveyor just happens to be in the area. Made no mention of the fact that they were fined £80,000 last month by the ioc for lying to people over the phone.

Scam number claiming hmrc tax refund and wanting credit card details to put money back on to. When questioned, said I was being difficult and would be removed from refund listing????

Had several calls from this number on our mobiles. I rang them back and ascertained from them that they had bought a quantity of telephone numbers from various sources and their computer was ringing them trying to get a positive response to their FREE BOILER initiatave. They are based in Macklesfield SK10 1AF

omg yeah i know what you mean sharon they tried calling me again today well shud i say they called me several times again when i told them where to go and that i have infact got there address they put the phone down on me yes i have reported it to the police here and in liverpool where there operating from sharon you need to do that also i cannot understand how they are getting away with this but they will get there comeupence sharon what comes around goes around and also where are they getting our numbers

Call from sky (obviously it wasn t them) telling me I was using a Sky Dish, asking my age etc and then hung up - Odd seeing as Sky is in my partners name and not mine. Obvious phishing expedition.

I think this is a scam number aiming to talk the vulnerable (ie people with debts) into giving out their bank details. I terminated the call as soon as they mentioned debts/creditors

A Google search suggests that the number, if genuine, belongs to Clockwise Credit Union in Leicester.

Got an SMS from them even though I am on TPS. "Unsure if you qualify for a refund of PPI paid on a loan or credit card? Reply PPI and we will run a no obligation check or reply STOP to opt out. TPPCO"

They sent a message asking to call them urgently, when I called them they refused to say what there company did unless I gave them my details, they said they had sent emails and letters, which I havent recived.
