SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. SCAM SPAM Fraud phone call as others have claimed that they pretend to be from O2 (probably trying to take advantage of the Virgin media/O2 partial merger) or hang up instantly. They don't leave voicemails or attempt more than once as it's an automated machine going through a number list.
These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. Just block the number if you have the facility. TPS is useless against these callers.
Scam. A text about needing to pay £2 to get your mail delivered takes you to https://royalmail-redirect.delivery/main/, whereas the proper address is just http. None of the links go anywhere except for the one to enter your details.
Got rude and aggressive when i tried to question how they got my details and when i asked for their Consumer Credit license number. Started swearing, name calling and laughing. THESE HAVE TO BE STOPPED!!!!!
