Call center SCAM Calling from O2 apparently, to give compensation for the bad signal quality. I agreed up until they said they would pass me onto their supervisor to get the compensation in progress. Call was from abroad. Not sure if this is a scam or not.

Called by these people offering a free loft roof space check, assured no money involved but if anything detected we would have two years to decide. Loft space checked and said to be in poor state for mould and decay of boards, told it would cost £8k to fix but if we went onto the express service it would be £6,400 but we had to book in right away. We asked for time to think about it and he then appeared to call a colleague who agreed to lower price to £6k but we must firm immediately. We declined.

This number called my business phone. I picked up and there was no response. I said hello? The reply was "mmm I'm gonna cum" and he put the phone down. My husband called back, he picked up the phone but as soon as he heard my husbands voice he put the phone down.

This is the fourth time this week calls from 01223 reputed to be Cambridge? saying my bank account has been attacked etc when pressed 2 to talk to the operator a female Asian voice answered....I asked are you in Nagapur India, the line went dead? It's obvious they have a way to get into our phone system. Another one they use is Liverpool 01514.

Lady with Indian accent claiming to be from "The Phone House Company" and wanting to upgrade me to a new iPhone 11. I asked how they have my number and she said from a shared database of all UK providers, although this would seemingly breach GDPR for sharing customer's contact details and wouldn't make sense for the businesses to risk losing customers this way. Phone call offering me a new phone and contract with massive savings. When I asked question that the caller was not prepared for or on her script she became very confused. I gave her false information about my phone, contract cost and provider and asked more questions that she could not answer she hung up. Number now blocked.

SCAM call from a man with Asian accent who said he was BT Openreach. I asked him if there was a problem with my BT internet. He said yes, how did I know that? I said well why else would you be phoning me? He said it's been running very slow for the last few days to which I replied that it's come to a complete stop because I don't have BT internet. I then told him to do something that I won't repeat and hung up.
