Accepted call and was greeted with friendly How are you today. BUT then went on to ask if I had heard of an IVA. Said yes and asked how they had my number. The reply was they were ringing on behalf of the government to stop people paying excessive credit charges. Asked them to remove my number. Staff member shirty said she had not spoken to me before and just wanted to know my circumstances. Is this one big scam? My mobile is blocked and number hidden so where do they get the information?

Called a TPS registered line, asking for a named individual, and identifying themselves as "Jess from BT", and asking to talk about "Your broadband line". This is despite our Internet services not being provided by BT, and the named person that "Jess" was asking for having nothing to do with the provision of our broadband. If she really was from BT (which I very much doubt that she was) then it would be one good reason not to touch them with several barge-poles strapped together.

Had text from this number, shows as coming from Lloyds Bank and says my Natwest account has been suspended. Why would Lloyds text me about Natwest? I rang my own bank on the secure number I have from them. No issues with my account. Phishing scam.
