The number identifies the message as RoyalMail contacting me. The mispelling of Royal Mail is reason enough to be suspiciouss. The asked me to click a link to redirect me to a web page to arrange delivery of a parcel they couldn't deliver. I have nothing on order and I am sure Royal Mail would not mispell their own name or contact me from a mobile. 100% a scam if like my elderly mother, you now look these strange numbers up online before responding.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. Missed call - Samsung identified it as potential scam and have no reason to have calls from Blackburn so ignored it.
Friendly number, an operator that he was previously on the phone with told him that my number was the person trying to place an order. So he called the wrong number and was a very funny man, not scam or spam.

The number is for a place called Sam's Cafe. They phoned me claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, offering me a deal on the latest iPhone. I was in the market for a new phone, lucky I didn't bite.
