I received a phone call from an Asian young man. I studied Linguistics and Phonetics and I am pretty sure of his origins. The background noise was of a room with other people talking simultaneously. I also heard a little bit of a joke between them and some laugh. Meanwhile, he told me that I had a virus on my system and that he would help me with it. I just got copped by a girl from this number, saying that my life insurance policy is due for renewal(without even having one), and after telling her I don't have one she just hung up on me . She just knew my name, without the surname. I first knew it was a scam call after I answered like a connection through internet was done(like a "click")the one you don't get with a usual call from a normal number. Blocked the number anyway. Just got a call from Pauline claiming to be from Safe Call Solutions. She wanted to sell a box which would block unwanted market survey and cold calls. The cost would be 96p per week.
