Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. Anne, the city code for London is 020 but for the number to be valid then the next digit will be 3, 7, or 8. Even then it could be a spoofed number, tho!

This number is a company called Natural Essentials. They flog over-priced vitamins and supplements to vulnerable elderly people. They are really persistent. When they come up against call blockers, they instantly re-dial with alternative numbers. Just recently they are even switching to international numbers in an effort to bypass. Associated numbers are 08000148950, 08000148960, 02034567894, 02034535242, 02034535243, 02034535244, 02034535245, 02034535246, 02034535247, 02034535248. Block them all!

Quite clearly an Ambulance Chaser allegedly from National Accident Investigation saying that I had an accident which was not my fault. Where do they get their information and why is it that the Information Commissions Office does not stamp out these nuisance calls.
