Mother in law was called and asked for all her card details and remote access to her computer. As she is old she complied and has now had £2000 stolen. Banks are saying they cant do anything as she "gave" her details.

Tried to tell me I was owed money from the tax man. An Indian man sounded like he was outside. Wanted to,pay £1768 to my bank account!!! Lol Do not fall for these scamming bastards!

Strong foreign accent asking me to confirm my name and address. I asked where got his information from. He proceeded to tell me he was doing a survey on household appliances. I asked again where he got his information from as I am TPS registered and ex directory. Also told him that I do not appreciate being questioned by unsolicited phone calls. He said something along the lines of, "Oh, TPS, this won't happen again". Very hard to understand fully. Suspect some sort of scam.
