SCAM - call centre with heavy indian accents, trying to get personal information.

SCAM. 019532360947 caiied my landline at 10.20am today. Voice told me that my bank card had been used for purchases from AMAZON. That however just now is impossible! Voice gave me the option to dial 1 to cancel or 2 to talk to an advisor. Used my initiative and cancelled the call. This call was a SCAM phishin for my Bank Details. This number is Dangerous warn others!

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Says they are from O2 and told me that I am getting a massive discount on my contract as I've been with them for so long. The funny thing is, I'm not even with O2 and as soon as I pointed this out (while laughing) they immediately hung up.

Just got a text message from this number regarding job opportunities and wanting some further details. Clearly another scammer as I have been retired 15 years and not the slightest interest in working again!

Claimed to be calling from 'MES' about life insurance. Smelled like a scam right from the off, so it mostly like is. Probably just best to hang up and ignore them. If it's important and a genuine issue they'll just write to you.

Claimed to be from Amazon security and wax saying someone was try to spend £700 on my account and asked for my banking info. Immediately very suspicious as sure Amazon would not do this.

SPAM . Has called my private number (that only 2 friends have) twice just a minute ago. My phone flashed it up as being potential fraud. I didn't answer. I would suggest to avoid this caller.

The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.

SCAM Had a text from this no saying they were Simon from FedEx. They had tried to deliver a parcel to my address ( someone was home ) in the text was a link to have your parcel re delivered asking for all your personal information and bank details. Be very careful
