This call was from a man called Henry (with an Asian accent). Claimed to be from Virgin Media and claiming that there was illegal activity on my IP address.
0203 654 4284 continues to call but stops before I can answer
Started by asking to speak to the business owner which ia a red flag for me then claimed to be from google, back down when queried and said they were a partner, then becamse abusive when I asked them to not call again. Blocked
Caller said they were from Microsoft and had noticed problems with my computer. I told him I thought it was a scam call and blocked that number.
Silent call - rang early morni9ng and when I picked up there was no voice, nothing. I said hello, but there was no reply - said it again and then the line went dead. Few people use our landline these days, and only numbers we recognise (family and friends) so I suspect this was spam.
Maybe an automated call from a call-centre etc,, as just got engaged tone when answering it. So a bit suspicious.
This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. Hope this helps others

DON'T SPEAK if you don't recognise the number - JUST LISTEN, wait for them to speak first. If the caller just hangs up or only a crackling noise is heard and then hangs up, then congratulations you've just escaped being scammed. Well done!

Call received to my mobile 13.19 11/2. I get very few incoming calls hence suspected Spam call immediately. Decided to answer to have a bit off fun with the likely scammer but call cut off by the other party (remote dialler ?) as I went to answer. 01726852670 called at 10.31 stating they were bank security. I know its a scam. As I keep getting these calls saying I have spent £300 on amazon and over £1000 on an international transaction.It is a local number for me. These people need stopping .
Called claiming to be from a utility company. They were very pushy and wouldn't listen when they were told they had the wrong person. I asked them to remove mu details from their system but they continue to call at least 8 times a day. I have blocked the number but then it goes straight to my answerphone and all I get silent messages with the sound of people laughing in the background.
