SCAM Ignored call. It went to voicemail and an automated voice left a message saying that there had been some suspicious activity on my Amazon account to the amount of £1,400+ and that my account would be locked and I should press 1 or 2 to sort this out. Obviously I didn't. I've checked my account due to receiving the same message from a mobile number a couple of days before and it's fine.

SCAM call asking to speak to a person who doesn't exist at my address - when asked who was calling, he said he was calling about the washing machine warranty that's expired and he was calling to offer a renewal. I asked him what washing machine and he said 'the washing machine manufacturer's warranty - i.e. didn't answer the question. I asked him who the company was and he said PYG - when I said, never heard of them, no such person as you requested and we're on the telephone preference list, he hung up.

Had a call from them today, I could here them in the background but would not speak to me, all I heard was them having a conversation about a client & the language they used could not be repeated on-line so my advise is beware

I have been called three times today from this number - the caller claims to be calling from Amazon and asking me to respond by tapping numbers. I have not taken any action as I believe this to be a scam.

Turns out it was one of those dodgy activity on your internet connection calls - as usual I denied having and internet connection a mobile phone and even a landline. On answering what was apparently a London number, a completely automated female voice started rambling on that it was on behalf of someone from HMRC (an officer Denis Grey) and that I or my solicitor needed to call back 'or face the consequences' (oooohh, so scary! *sarcasm*) Just plain irritating and stupid.
