Called saying from telemarketing if I gave details they could put a stop to nuisance calls. I said you’re not you’re trying to scam people and not so politely told them where to go.

Ringing up twice a day for the past 10 days
Received call from this number 07787 406 551. Message was left. Seems to be like a robot voice. Threatened to contact Police and pass along NiNo for making annoying calls. This can easily scare people who are unaware of scammers.
Lady with Asian accent said she was from BT, asked for the email address of the person who she should email about an internet and systems update. I said we didn t use BT and I was suspicious of the call, she put phone down.

Insurance SPAM This number and very similar numbers have been calling me daily for a couple of weeks. I have missed the previous calls but answered today. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. When I told him I don't have a policy he asked if I'd cancelled it and I told him I had and that I don't need life insurance. He immediately told me to have a good day and hung up. Received call from this number with a recorded voice claiming to be from "bank fraud department" stating that large amount of money has been taken from my account. I have since checked the number and it appears to be a legitimate local school number. However, the received scam call was recorded on my phone as being from this number.
No message left. When I called back, number not recognised. Scam!

Number is one of Scot Call s many. They are part of Mackenzie Hall group. and collect old debts, that can be 10 - 20 years old. By law most debts over 6 years are void. The calls are usually automated or ask for personal info. Hope this helps.

Just had another call from this number today - ESI Scotland again. What are the TPS and ICO playing at? They should be hammering these lawbreakers. I will be asking qustions of the TPS and ICO.

SCAM Had the name of the person who had my number a decade ago. Told me that person had given them this number when bought a washing machine in 2018. When I pointed this out they hung up so I could not find out the nature of the scam. But number could have been spoofed.

I ve registered my.mobile with the Tps service and that doesn t stop this kind of caller. like before, they call you go to answer as businesses change their number of entries and as soon so you say hello they hang up. if they are a fraudulent company surely the telecommunications company should be suspended from trading & fined.
I`ve checked and the caller is either Helping Hands (a handyman firm) or a firm called Coldel who do removals. The address is 23 Southmead Road Fareham PO15 5JY.

Pretended to be from Microsoft and wanted to be given windows license number. Hung up when they had no success
I have received quite a few calls from this number. I decided to phone it back, and there was an automated computer voice (sounded a bit American) which said "I m sorry, an application error has occurred. Goodbye." Obviously a scam of some sort. I ve saved the number in my phone as Spam Caller , so I ll be sure not to answer it in future.

Thankfully I had misread the number and wondered if it was another scam call so I waited for the other to speak first. There was no response and the call was ended. After checking online (on other sites), I have now blocked this number.
