Caller identified herself as Julie Smith from Signet Advice (as far as I could tell with some background noise). Said she d been informed I was recently injured in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her how she knew that. She replied that she was sorry to bother me and would remove my phone number from their database and hung up on me without pausing for breath. Pond scum. (My number is registered with TPS and I can t stand talking to idiots so I ve reported them)

Melville consultants visited my company saying they could appeal and reduce our business rates. The person who visited was Peter John. He said they could put in an appeal, no charge, but if appeal accepted then they would charge to complete the appeal and send in a surveyor. After researching it turns out anybody can put an appeal it takes a few minutes -the whole thing is a complete scam avoid at all costs. Just had a call from this number Automated message saying it was an Amazon confirmation call for an iPhone purchase. Press 1 to delete the purchase or 2 to confirm. Sounds like the phone scam where pressing 1 or 2 will then connect you to a premium call. I ended the call. Don't get duped.
I have no idea who called, but it appeared on my BT bill and I am charged £8.699 for an unsolicited call. It is simply outrageous!
