They do announce themselves to contact customers on behalf of EON and are not actually EON.I am sure eon knows about it despite they deny they use such call centres. Lady with English accent saying she was an energy advisor for my area, calling from an "energy hub" (whatetever that might be). When I managed to stop her (clearly reading from a script) I aksed her precisely what organisation she was calling from. She went silent and hung up.

Silent call Kept ringing on my mobile but no name came up so I didn't answer as I didn't reconice the number. How can I find out more about this number who ever it was?

I called this number back as it has called me twice in the past week. When I called back they said it was a childrens charity.
claimed to be from some kind of energy company but couldn't hear properly as music and noise in background, said was to do with the upcoming renewal. Definitely not our provider and a broker deals with our charity's contract not the admin office so call was terminated
