SCAM According to the area number its from the states. It rang on my landline & answer machine answered. They hung up & called again straight away. Again my answer machine answered. This time a lady voice with a foreign accent started saying hallo, hallo... Quite a few times before they hung up Don't know anybody in the states who has my number. Got to be a scam.
Called March 10 2922. Domestic appliance insurance scam. Didn't wait for all the details. Typical asian voice saying insurance was running out. Normally they offer to renew at a discount if you give them your card details. NEVER give out personal details or bank details to anyone who phones you. If in doubt find the phone number you want from an independent source and phone them.

Very odd. Lady said she was doing research on behalf of a US charity into healthcare and no personal data would be taken. Asked how she got my number and she said it was 'randomly generated' by a computer. They said my amazon prime needed renewing and to press number 1 to renew. this is a scam call as my prime is only expiring in 6 months time.

Cold call offering to reduce my vodaphone payments but not from vodaphone itself apparently we’re supplied with number from who I could not ascertain when I refused to disclose my current payment and asked them to make me an offer they closed the call. Received a payment request email from Paypal for £650 with message stating "Fraudulent activity found, amount £649.99 GBP has been debited from your account for a purchase of DECATHLON GIFT CARDS, if it's not you reach us immediately @ +44-800-368-9784". As this email was directly from PayPal, i checked my account and the request for payment was actually true, however the message on the request is false and the number is fake. This number is NOT Paypal and is a scam.
