SCAM / SPAM Recorded 'Local oven (and barbecue) cleaning service'. Have complained about this several times before, but they keep coming every year, with the same number.
I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. And yet, an internet search suggests that this number is regularly used as part of a scam. The Barclays operator need to wake up and start offering better advice than "don't worry, it's a Barcla

They ring twice a day, sometimes it's a dead line or they ask for a family member, then either slam the phone down when I say they're not in or will put the phone down when waiting for the person to come to the phone. No idea what it's for, but sounds like

SCAM - Claim to be from O2 offering a 40% discount on the lifetime of my contract. All I needed to do was to give the "one time" 6 digit number that they texted me. Saw this scam on a recent documentary and once they get a reply they can intercept important info. Quite how they got my number is a mystery but I assume a autobot or dark web listing. They were unable to confirm my name, I deleted the texts and have blocked this number. DONT FALL FOR IT.
