I received a call from someone claiming to be from "blockchain". Very hostile. Clearly a scam. Also, got the wrong name when they called.
These people claim to be life insurance but are abusive and rude on the phone. They won't stop calling

SCAM - My elderly mother received a call on her landline from this number (01536 210272) today 4Aug approx 5.10pm. Polite male caller asked her to confirm her name and address which he told her and she did. He said he was from BT and told her as she'd been a loyal customer, having never reported a problem, she was being offered a 35% discount on her bill. Said was from EE PROMOTIONAL team. Hung up as EE CALL from their contact centres and appear as an 03 number and not a domestic landline number. Caller was indian from their accent and dialect. Likely using a voip set up . Do not give details and hang up.
This is clearly a scam call pretending to be HM Revenue and Customs.

Silent call - "Hello", then silence when asked who was calling....then phone put down. Unanswered call earlier, so they could be persistent in tracking live no's - for whatever their purpose. Did sound briefly like a live human, not a recording. No human interaction though - just the harrassment.

SPAM. Nigel Frank recruitment these folk call your mobile usually during work meeting times (9-10) and think it's acceptable to keep your phone ringing for 30sec. Knowing you've probably muted the call with the intention of putting your phone to silent when they eventually abandon the call they'll immediately radial so you cant do this, to annoy you again, which is a bit controlling. Despite telling them you've started a new job, they continue to pester you every month.

The phone number 020 3290 6119 is a scam. Someone called introducing himself as Peter Jones from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd . they are impersonating a business and personal name by using this landline number to sell a personal loan and trying to get money from people. I checked Finance and Investment solutions Ltd by FCA, and I have been told that Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company offering only mortgages and its telephone number is totally different from this phone
I checked the number dialled 01315696510 and it says I have dialled an incorrect number!
