They rang saying it was the Inland Revenue and that I had ignored letters and owed money and to press 1 to speak to their operative which I did not do. I blocked the number. I am a pensioner with heart problems so not impressed. It was a recorded message which sounded robotic - hope this helps and hope you can take it down. I've reported it to Inland Revenue via their on line form.

SCAM......typical automated call telling me there were 2 suspect transactions pending on my card of £300 & £1100.......and to press 1 if not me.....yeah as if!!!! Called my Bank instead as the Tel No originated in Oslo and I know my bank is based in U.K.

Nobody answers. If you wait and don't speak then you hear 3 beeps and then the call cuts off.

Pre - recorded woman’s voice saying there was a £900 transaction pending on my Visa card, and “Press button 1 to report this if it isn’t you.” I have no Visa card. Scam.

Automated call, said failure to respond would result in charges against me, gave me a case number, seemed to be to do with national insurance, wanted me to press one. I hung up.

SCAM Fraud Call received this afternoon. Robot American accented voice started saying "Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs has received a returned letter" - just hung up straight away.

Recorded message "bank alert" from bank "technical department" Usual same male voice used regularly for these scams from various numbers. Total pain and regarded as harrassment,. Thery obviously think folk are stupid enough to respond by pressing button 2 - which only atkes you to a premium rate line from which the scammers make money. Five star bad.

Fraud Included message about phone being dropped and asking to message on an alternate number. Bizarrely I'm not their mum.

Some foreign sounding person with a croaky voice, calling about a motor "accident compensation", claiming to be acting on behalf of the "Motor Insurance Bureau".... Tell them Nothing... Silent call Missed call SPAM I was called by this number around 30minutes after a different +44, it is not actually the local number calling, potentially a spam/scam as usually once the number is searched online. A legit company is linked to the full number I.e (0)122 etc but it's displaying at +44. I answered one call and no one spoke, no background noise, because I didn't initiate a Coversation, they cleared, I blocked the number, I've checked my blocklist, they attempted to call me two more times after,

This is a cold caller first thing in the morning, asking what i had in my loft. Denied being a cold caller or nuisance caller. Saying i would benefit from this call. Called from Citizens advice group. I questioned the male caller with a south Asian accent in some detail. He was very helpful. They were calling about debts and he asked what debts we had. I asked him where they got our number and he replied FCA ????????????. I then asked him for the person or department name as I have previously worked with FCA in the past, he didn’t give it to me. He was very polite and said he couldn’t continue. He also said they weren’t authorised in the UK!

Supposedly from my bank informing me my account as been compromised, and to ring this number for how to proceed. con job very dangerous.

Claimed to be the bank. Said there were large deductions from our account and to press one to agree to the amounts. So I put the phone down!

Became agressive when challanged regarding legitimacy of call. Then received caller-withheld harrasment & time wasting calls a few minutes after putting the phone down with the 'caller' attempting to change the sound of their voice
