Had a couple of missed calls from this number yesterday. Answered a call from them today. They asked for me by name and said they were called Motor Assist and calling about a car accident. I told them I hadn t been in one and that they d been given the wrong information. They hung up on me without even as much as a goodbye. Number blocked.

Automated call Ostensibly from BT, saying suspicious (or similar!) activity on my phone and internet, so will be closing them down. Press 1 ........ etc ! This is the second scamming call within a few minutes, but the other was from a mobile pretending to be from Amazon. The scammers are really active today!

Reschedule the delivery via: https://my-fedex-parcel-gb.com" - I have not ordered anything and the text was sent at 11pm and while I was home. I suspected a scam right away. Beware, this number has reportedly been used by Vanquis Bank representatives. These callers claim to be representing themselves as a variety of other animal/pets or other charities. If you have had a debt with Vanquis and start getting calls from this number then beware. Do a web search using terms vanquis, debt and this (or other) phone numbers - it may be a pursuit of DEBTS!!!
