Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. Immediately suspected a scam, pressed to speak to an adviser and decided once more to play along. Male with foreign accent, as usual acting as if I had called in. Had the same calls about my credit card being used inappropriately from random mobile numbers, this time it appeared to be from a landline 02074858307.

Likely scam. They rang me. I picked up but didn't say anything into the phone. They didn't say anything either and then hung up. I always answer in this way when I receive an unexpected phone call from an unfamiliar number. Legitimate callers always say "hello" and try to get a response. Scammers hang up. It happens every time!

Called to tell me that there is been over thousand pounds transaction on my account today, and I should ring in to stop the transaction if I have not authorized the transaction. I checked with my bank who have told me there's been no such transaction. Clearly a scam call.

SCAM called about washing machine insurance not the company we are with told him and he hung up. Called back the number to hear "thankyou for callng its ok an agent will be with you shortly" rang 3 times and hung up

16.9.22 - Phone rang at 8.30pm - did not answer and they did not leave a message. Assumed it was a scam call and have blocked it.

Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.

SCAM Beware! . . . . . A robotic message claiming to be from Amazon concerning an overdue payment for Prime services. I have never had Prime and I know that Amazon would not contact me in this manner. The message used a phone number local to my area, so I suspect that someone, somewhere has set up this number as a relay station.
