This caller, a male with Asian accent, is potentially dangerous. He said he was from BT and that my broadband connection had been compromised. When I explained that I did not have a phone line from BT any more, I asked how could he know that my internet connection had been compromised. There was a few moments of silence while he thought of a suitable answer, then he said that the phone lines were provided by BT. Some bug infected my computer and every 20 minutes I get a large pop up at the bottom right hand side of the screen, asking me to ring this number for "Emergency Tech support". It also states it's premium support ... costly I guess. Anyone know who they are and how to get rid of it?

I too have had money deducted from my Barclaycard. 29th jan It has taken till November and have been informed by swift financial that a refund is due in 30days that was the 26th Oct,nothing has materialised. What annoys me is swift are still sending me packs out to claim on other acts. They must be in on this scam. Where can I find out about act 1974. Sect 75 as I don’t think Barclaycard will refund now.
