just had a debt collection agency on the phone saying that they are collecting on behalf of stephenson and judge he says i have to pay ?324 today or they will take me to small claims court. they can get lost just reported them to trading standards

Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.

A company called I love my offers . Hung up on them straight away and blocked their number.

Follow-up call from Jason Thomas. Very pleasant. Explained that Nigel Parry would be visiting this afternoon. Went through various security questions. Explained that cost of equipment was £399 and reference RP54R4 would give 50% discount, installation being free. Explained that visit was no obligation . First time £399 was mentioned as Sarah didn t mention that in the last call. AVOID

So they called me earlier today claiming to be Virgin. They were offering me a deal to upgrade my services and I was wary of them for quite a while, however they never asked me for any bank details only to confirm personal information so I proceeded with the call. After seeing the reviews here I got worried after by how much they knew about my account so I called Virgin, who confirmed it was in fact their marketing team and the deal I was offered had been genuine and that upgrades were indeed in the works.
